Privacy policy

Kadena Nexus ("we", "our", "the platform") is a non-custodial, community-built platform providing analytics, visualization, and decentralized applications for the Kadena blockchain. We are committed to protecting user privacy and minimizing data collection.

1. Information we collect

We collect only the minimum information necessary to operate the platform.

Public blockchain data

  • Wallet addresses (public, on-chain data)
  • Transaction metadata available on the Kadena blockchain

User-provided information (optional)

  • Username or display name, if you register

Technical data

  • Basic, anonymized usage data such as page views and device type, used solely for performance and reliability

We do not collect real names, government IDs, bank account details, private keys, recovery phrases, or custodial financial information.

2. Wallets and smart contracts

Kadena Nexus integrates with third-party wallets such as Chainweaver and Eckowallet. We never access, store, or control user private keys. All on-chain actions, including escrow, trades, and registrations, are executed directly by Pact smart contracts and the user's wallet.

3. Peer-to-peer marketplace

For P2P features:

  • We do not process or store fiat payments
  • We do not act as a custodian, broker, or intermediary
  • Escrow logic is enforced on-chain via Pact smart contracts
  • Off-chain payment details are shared directly between users

Users are responsible for verifying payment details before sending funds.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent user data. We may share limited data only when required by law, when necessary to protect the platform from abuse or security threats, or with infrastructure providers such as hosting and analytics services under standard confidentiality obligations.

5. Cookies and analytics

We may use minimal cookies or analytics tools to understand usage patterns and improve performance and reliability. These tools do not track personal identity and can be disabled in your browser settings.

6. Data security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the platform. However, users acknowledge that blockchain transactions are public and immutable by design.

7. User responsibility

By using Kadena Nexus, users acknowledge that blockchain data is public, that incorrect payment details may result in irreversible loss, and that smart contracts execute deterministically according to their code.

8. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated periodically. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
